Ti:ME 0 introduces the story of Tokei, a student at the Black Coat Institute who seems to be cursed (or blessed?) with a supernatural time anomaly. It lays the foundation for an enigmatic world full of wonder, with no shortage of mythology, action, classic tropes, and philosophical stakes.

A VAST, VAST WORLD

Long ago, twelve humans—deemed the purest by the Universe, or something akin to it—were entrusted with artefacts said to contain great power meant for the betterment of humanity. As the sands of time trickled, these revered olden gods—Archetypes—vanished, leaving their relics scattered across the Earth. Today, Golden Gatherers and Black Coats actively hunt and research these artefacts, striving for power and insight into the fabric of existence. For centuries, only fragments had been found—until that day, when a certain figure appeared…

SING, O TIMELESS GOD, THE TRAGEDY OF TOKEI

Tokei is a first-year student at the Black Coat Institute, renowned for its research into artefacts: lost, legendary vessels of great power. He had led nothing but a peaceful life with the Matter Trio, Joki and Kuro, until one morning when he awoke in panic, his dreams still echoing the words: "Undo the key, Tokei!" He could not have known that his fate would forever change that same day. At 10:23 PM, a fragment of his dream came true—time froze. From that moment, he vowed to uncover and learn as much as he could before the rest of his harrowing vision manifested... but would he make it in time?
